The Pecotte’s master bath was entirely gutted down to the studs while changing the tub location to allow for Jay’s award winning design. Being that the house was built of cement block, this posed a small issue for relocating the plumbing for the shower. By incorporating a pipe chase into the design, it helped keep the Pecotte’s initial vision in tact. Glass mosaic tiles, custom corian shelving, and two tier his and hers hanging lavatories were a few accents to a walk-in shower pillared by a glass block wall in this “space odyssey” master bath.
